The team at Paperchase in The Beacon will be getting their wooden spoons out for a charity cake bake on Saturday.
A selection of home-made cakes, made by the in-store team, will be sold for up to £1 between 9am and 1pm to raise money for Epilepsy Sussex.
Store manager Sarah Crompton, who was diagnosed with epilepsy 30 years ago, said: “We always like to stir things up so a thought a bit of cake baking would be a good idea to join in the Centre’s A Grand Day Out event.”
Michelle Shrieves, from Epilepsy Sussex, said: “We’re very grateful to the team at Paperchase for raising money for our charity. We hope they’ll have some fun in the process and that customers will enjoy some delicious cakes at the same time.”
